I was very skeptical about Pampers Dry Max after reading all the negative reviews. Yet given my past overall satisfaction with most of P&G's new products, I decided to give it a try before drawing a conclusion myself.
The shipment arrived within two days free of charge. I guess it's part of the promotion either Amazon or P&G is doing now. Having tried the new dry max on my 6-month old son for two weeks, I would say I can't tell any defects or inferior quality of it compared to the original Swaddlers.
On the contrary, it's indeed thinner and resulted in a dryer and smoother feel on my son's skin than the original Swaddlers too. The product didn't have any bad smell, nor did it leak either as some buyers mentioned. Overall, I'm very happy with the Dry Max and think it's indeed an improvement from the old swaddlers.

I am a stay at home Mom with 4 children. I have been buying diapers for the past almost 11 years and Pampers Baby Dry is hands down the best diaper on the market, and believe me I have tried them all! All of my kids have been "super soakers" when it comes to pee. These diapers way out perform any other brand including major brands and department store brands. The major selling points for me are:
1. They are thin, easy to pack 5 in a diaper bag.
2. Easy to unfold with one hand (if you, like me frequently have to use the other hand to keep baby still)
3. tabs are easily opened without extra unfolding and don't rip off like several other brands.
4. Doesn't leave residue on baby or smell like pee when really soaked.
5. wider in the front to prevent baby from peeing out the side (and my kids are experts at this)
One thing that may be helpful is to remember that Pampers fit better on children that are long and skinny. If your baby is short and really chubby in the bottom, then Huggies will fit your baby better. This, I believe, explains the few complaints about Pampers not fitting or leaking.

What is a good diet in pregnancy? First of all, don't diet! This is not the time to starve yourself. Pregnancy also isn't the time to lose weight. Eat a good, nutritious diet, and you'll lose your pregnancy weight gain just fine after your baby is born. If you have a weight problem — if you are either underweight or overweight — then you may need to follow a special nutritional program during your pregnancy. Discuss this with your health care provider.
How much weight do women usually gain during pregnancy? The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists says that an average weight gain of 28 pounds (or a range of 22 to 35 pounds) is normal. If you gain much more than that, it will take some time after pregnancy to lose it. So while you should not be dieting during pregnancy, it's not a good idea to use pregnancy as an excuse to eat all the time, either!
